The Copperstone Parent Empowerement Series are monthly virtual information sessions covering a range of topics relevan to the parents and guardians of middle school and high school students. Virtual Parent Information Sessions for high school typically cover a range of topics relevant to parents/guardians of high school students.
Sessions will be hosted by Copperstone and facilitated by leadeing experts in various fields. The sessions are designed to provide information, resources, and support to help parents navigate their child's middle and high school experience successfully.

De-coding US Curriculum

Topics ranging from Common Core Sttate Standards, AP courses, dual credit, and dual diploma

College and Career Readiness

Industry experts will guide parents through post-secondary education and career pathways. This may include information about college admissions requirements, standardized testing (such as the SAT and ACT), 2-year colleges and in-demand career certifications.

Student Well-being and Safety

Information about school safety protocols in physical schools and online. Topics may include discussions about mental health awareness, substance abuse prevention, internet safety, and resources for addressing social and emotional challenges.

Social Media Management for Teens

Social media management for teens involves teaching young people how to responsibly and effectively use social media platforms to build a positive online presence while also staying safe and protecting their privacy.
