A visionary leader and a seasoned banker with over 30 years of experience in the Banking, IT industry and Family Business. He has extensive expertise in Board Membership, Islamic Banking, Wholesales & Consumer Banking, Risk Management, Finance, Operation & Technology, Sales & Distribution and Business Development. Serves in various boards of companies and is actively involved in various startup companies and is a co-founder of Blink.
Currently, he is an advisor to the Group Chairman of Alserkal Group and serves as an Independent Board Member. His expertise lies in devising impact and commercial strategies, working with government leaders and private sectors. Works extensively with various ministries in future technologies, circular economy, and sustainability of family businesses by training NextGen on Venture Studio Module. On the advisory board of UAE Ministry of Climate Change and Environment and other entities.

Has worked at Citigroup for over 14 years where he assumed various senior roles. Post that he worked as the Chief Risk Officer at Dubai Bank. And then as Group Head of Islamic Banking at Emirates NBD and served as Group Head Chief Operating Officer for Wholesale Banking. He has been honored with numerous Global Awards. Currently pursuing his doctorate in AI driven sustainability.

Dr. Chassie Selouane

Dr. Chassie Selouane is a globally recognized leader in international education with more than 23 years of experience driving innovative learning and student-centered leadership across the United States, the Middle East, Africa, and beyond.
As Vice Chairperson of the Board of Directors at Copperstone Education, she brings strategic vision, deep curriculum expertise, and a lifelong commitment to educational excellence and equity.
Dr. Chassie’s career spans a wide spectrum of roles, including teacher, instructional leader, curriculum coordinator, vice-principal, executive principal, and director of learning in American and international schools. She is a specialist in American and IB-aligned education, holding multiple educational leadership licenses (including Principal/Administrator certification in the District of Columbia and Florida) and certifications across the full International Baccalaureate continuum.

Dr. M'zee Fula NGENGE

Dr. M’zée Fula Ngenge has served on the Copperstone Education Board of Directors since 2024, bringing more than four decades of international leadership, economic strategy, and Pan-African engagement to the organization. As Executive Chairman and Managing Director of JFPI Corporation—Africa’s largest private economic empowerment conglomerate—and Chairman of the African Diamond Council (ADC), Africa’s official diamond governing body, Dr. Ngenge offers Copperstone Education a rare combination of policy insight, economic expertise, and cross-continental influence.
Widely regarded as a trusted advisor to African heads of state and senior government officials, Dr. Ngenge has contributed to high-level discussions on economic development, strategic partnerships, resource governance, and nation branding. His experience operating at the intersection of public policy, private enterprise, and international diplomacy provides valuable strategic perspective as Copperstone Education evaluates growth opportunities and long-term expansion across Africa.
A recognized Pan-African bridge builder, Dr. Ngenge has spent decades strengthening ties between Africa and its global diaspora. His leadership in international cultural initiatives—including his appointment as Chairman of the Mandela International Film Festival—reflects his commitment to elevating African excellence on the world stage. Through JFPI Corporation and its subsidiaries, he has overseen multinational media, entertainment, and cultural ventures across more than 12 languages, demonstrating a sophisticated understanding of global markets, branding, and cross-border engagement.

Dr. Jacob Francom

Vice Chairperson

Dr. Jacob Francom has worked with schools in the U.S. and abroad for many years. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Physics, Master of Arts in Russian Language, Literature, and Linguistics, Master of Education in Educational Leadership, and Doctor of Education degree in Educational Leadership.
He has been a principal of both private and public schools, a superintendent of a school district, and a professor. He has worked with different accreditation bodies and enjoys working with international schools around the globe. Dr. Francom has been named principal of the year and recognized as educational leader of the year by his university.

Debra Alexander

Debra Alexander has served as an active member of the Copperstone Education Board of Directors since 2024, bringing more than two decades of expertise in organizational development, leadership coaching, and systems transformation to the organization. A seasoned organization development (OD) consultant, Deb advises Copperstone Education on organizational structure, leadership alignment, and professional development strategy to ensure sustainable growth and operational excellence.
With over 20 years of experience designing and leading initiatives across both public and private sector organizations, Deb has conducted comprehensive organizational assessments, developed strategic policies and programs, and coached senior leaders in managing change and navigating complex transitions. Her work has consistently focused on building high-performing individuals, teams, and institutions in the United States and internationally.
At Copperstone Education, Deb plays a key advisory role in strengthening internal systems and advancing the organization’s professional development initiatives. She provides strategic guidance for PD programming, including Common Core Boot Camp—the region’s largest single-day professional development experience serving U.S. curriculum and international schools. Her expertise ensures that Copperstone’s PD offerings remain rigorous, relevant, and aligned with global best practices in leadership and instructional effectiveness.
Deb has held progressively responsible senior-level positions within the U.S. Federal Government, where she developed deep expertise in executive leadership, policy implementation, and organizational transformation. She also served as a senior coach with the Excellence in Government Fellows Program, where she designed and developed the program framework and curriculum, coached fellow executive coaches, and delivered experiential leadership learning experiences for senior government leaders. In addition, Deb currently serves on the faculty of Georgetown University’s Organizational Consulting and Change Leadership Program, where she contributes to developing the next generation of organizational consultants and change leaders. Her commitment to leadership excellence, structural clarity, and transformational growth aligns closely with Copperstone Education’s mission to deliver high-impact academic and professional learning experiences worldwide.

Eli Ghazel, MA, serves as the Vice President of Curriculum and Learning, where he leads the implementation, training, and ongoing enhancement of Copperstone Education's curriculum.
With nearly 25 years of experience creating and delivering educational training across the Gulf, Middle East, UK, and USA, Eli brings a wealth of expertise to his role. He is a published author of several textbooks and has delivered professional development to thousands of educators.
Globally recognized for his insights, Eli is also a sought-after presenter and keynote speaker at English language learner conferences. His leadership ensures Copperstone's curriculum remains innovative and impactful.
